Tricia Van Roekel

1st grade teacher

My name is Tricia Van Roekel, and I am the first-grade teacher at Oskaloosa Christian.

I am married to Gary and between us, we have 10 kids ranging in age from 12-30. We also have 2 grandkids, and another on the way, which is pretty great!

I have been a teacher for 30 years, mostly in dual-grade classrooms. I LOVE teaching, I LOVE kids, and have known I wanted to be a teacher since the 4th grade. Kids are my "deal". I love their honest hearts and their love for learning.
