Leah Stam
Leah Stam has been at Oskaloosa Christian for over fifteen years, beginning her time here as a first grade teacher and now as the 8th grade homeroom and middle school Bible teacher. Leah graduated from Northwestern College in Orange City in 2005 with a degree in elementary education and a middle school endorsement. Her current position fits Leah well, as she is passionate about helping students see their place in God’s story! She considers her job full-time youth ministry and loves being able to build relationships with students and watch as her students grow stronger and more confident in their faith.
Outside of the classroom, Leah is busy with her four children and being a farmer’s wife. Ag education has become another of her passions; she loves teaching and showing others about her family’s dairy farm! She loves baking and cooking and unwinds by reading a good book with a cup of tea or a can of Cherry Coke!
My DEEP HOPE is that as we EXAMINE GOD’S WORD, we will begin to RECOGNIZE and REALIZE our OWN ROLES as PARTICIPANTS in GOD’S STORY as LIVING STONES of HIS CHURCH.
