The first graders led our Good Friday/Easter chapel. They reminded us of the happenings in the last week of Jesus’ life and how very much He loves us. They finished with an activity to show our sins are paid for by laying them at the foot of the cross. We have much to be thankful for because of what Jesus did for us, and there is so much JOY in knowing Jesus is alive! He is Risen! First graders share the Easter story.

3rd Grade Chapel – February
The 3rd Graders hosted our JOY chapel on Friday, February 14th. Our special guests included many of our pastors. Mr. Rietema spoke on his many loves represented by his abundance of hats. His favorite hat is “I love Jesus”! Putting Jesus first helps us to love one another.
🌟 This morning, we were blessed to welcome Pastor Dane Schaudt from Liberty E-Free Church in Pella to lead our Chapel! He inspired us all—students and adults alike—with a challenge for some friendly competition: to “outdo one another in showing honor.” 💙Let’s strive to live out Romans 12:10b: “Honor one another above yourselves.” What a beautiful reminder to lift each other up in love and humility! 🙌✨
✨ Chapel with the 5th Graders: The “J” in JOY! ✨ https://www.facebook.com/share/r/HE9EmbMnRNbcGGdh/
This week, our 5th graders led us in a beautiful chapel centered on the “J” in JOY—Jesus! 🙌 They reminded us of the many powerful names of Jesus that reflect His character and His incredible gift of salvation.
From Redeemer to Alpha and Omega and Good Shepherd, we were reminded of how Jesus guides, loves, and saves us. At Christmas, we celebrate names that point to the wonder of His coming—Light of the World, Immanuel, Wonderful Counselor, Lamb of God. 🎄✨
As we prepare our hearts for the season of Christmas, may we keep our focus on Jesus, the ultimate reason for our JOY! ❤️
